From January to December 2022, China imported 1.111 million tons of main synthetic rubber, a decrease of 6000 tons or 1% compared with the same period in 2021. The import profile of each main rubber is shown in Figure 1.

From January to December 2022, China exported a total of 496000 tons of main synthetic rubber, an increase of 209 thousand tons or 73% compared with the same period in 2021. The export profile of various main rubber varieties is shown in Figure 2.

From January to December 2022, China imported 205000 tons of synthetic latex, a decrease of 28% compared with the same period in 2021; The export of synthetic latex totaled 69000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 59%,
From January to December 2022, China imported 64000 tons of composite rubber, a decrease of 17% compared with the same period in 2021; The imported natural rubber totaled 1.978 million tons, an increase of 8% year on year; The imported natural rubber and different types of synthetic rubber mixture totaled 3.361 million tons, up 15% year on year.
